Haleem Recipe Using Country Plus Foods Haleem Masala
Ingredients:
– Meat (Beef/Mutton/Chicken): 500 grams, boneless
– Wheat: 1 cup, soaked overnight
– Split Bengal Gram (Chana Dal): ½ cup, soaked
– Red Lentils (Masoor Dal): ¼ cup, soaked
– Yellow Lentils (Moong Dal): ¼ cup, soaked
– Country Plus Foods Haleem Masala: 1 packet
– Ginger-Garlic Paste: 2 tablespoons
– Fried Onions: 1 cup
– Yogurt: ½ cup
– Ghee or Oil: 1 cup
– Lemon: 2, for garnishing
– Green Chilies: 4-5, chopped
– Fresh Coriander: ½ cup, chopped
– Mint Leaves: ¼ cup, chopped
– Ginger: 2-inch piece, julienned
– Salt: to taste
– Water: as required
Instructions:
- Prepare the Meat:
– In a large pot, heat ghee/oil and add the ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until fragrant.
– Add the meat and fry until it changes color.
– Add yogurt and half of the fried onions. Cook until the oil separates.

– Cook until the grains and lentils are soft and mushy. This may take up to 1-2 hours.
– Once cooked, blend the mixture with a hand blender to achieve a smooth consistency. - Combine and Cook:
– Add the cooked meat mixture to the blended grains.

– Cook on low heat, stirring frequently to avoid sticking. This step ensures the flavors meld together beautifully. - Final Touches:
– Once the Haleem reaches your desired consistency, add the remaining fried onions, chopped green chilies, fresh coriander, mint leaves, and julienned ginger.
